Dear Cushman Families,
I want to warmly welcome each of you to the 2021-2022 school year. I know this start of the school year is not exactly as we had hoped, but regardless, we are excitedly anticipating the arrival of your children! Our highly committed and skilled faculty, staff, and administration are already on campus preparing for an engaging year for your children, but our campus culture and spirit will be complete until we warmly welcome your children with joyous, bright smiles as we launch this wonderful learning year together!
As you may remember, last year’s theme was Pave New Ways. It was perfectly suited for the flexible navigation needed to meet the expanding needs of your children and our entire constituency and create the many new paths that would lead to our aims. Embracing and honoring everyone’s expertise and ingenuity brought forth insightful ideas that we responsibly tested as we rode the ways of change, and the safety of your children and our employees was top priority. It took the commitment and partnership between our School and your homes to achieve our results. Thank you!
This year’s theme, Roots of Our Past, Transform Our Future, will guide us as it provides strength in allowing us to continuously transform our School and position ourselves in the global educational landscape. I am thrilled that you and your family are members of our special Cushman community. Your continued interest in and commitment toward partnering with us as we develop your children’s hearts, growth mindset, thought processes and dispositions through a loving and kind environment are paramount; Each is for a for your children’s successes and joyful hearts. I lead with gratitude for having each of your deep commitment toward what makes the Cushman experience so unique and compelling. Your commitment to your child(ren’s) character always coming first continues to aid us in fulfilling our mission of developing your children as engaged leaders with a positive approach to life.
