As a non-profit, independent school, the entire Cushman School community is encouraged to contribute annually. We aim to achieve 100% parent, faculty and staff participation in The Cushman Fund each year. Gifts to The Cushman Fund are part of our School’s annual budget designed to supplement operating expenses and enhance our child(ren)’s learning experiences. Given yearly, these donations are used by The Cushman School to implement innovative programming and personalized services that tuition revenue alone doesn’t cover. With your partnership, Cushman provides intellectual, artistic, athletic, and programmatic opportunities to every student in an individualized manner. The interest from this restricted fund provides an ongoing source of revenue to supplement annual fundraising efforts. Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to support our mission while accommodating your own financial, estate planning and philanthropic goals. In addition to monetary generosity, there are many ways to donate your time, talent and expertise to The Cushman School. Given on an annual basis, these donations are used to implement innovative programming and personalized services that tuition revenue alone doesn’t cover. Our goal is 100% participation from our Cushman community each year. These are the six most popular ways to support The Cushman School. Feel free to contact a member of the Advancement Team for details. We need your help in this capital campaign project to complete an indoor, performing arts and athletic center on our main campus that will provide additional opportunities for our students. Date: March 15th, 2025 A epic celebration of Cushman’s 100 year legacy with dining, dancing, auction, etc. The library is a magical place on Cushman’s Main Campus where our students’ imaginations come alive. Surrounded by a variety of stories and educational literature, this beautiful, yet comfortable, space allows students to read, relax and study in the solitude of a real library. This is significant since many schools today are doing away with tangible books and libraries on their campuses and going completely electronic. We are proud to provide our students with the research-based benefits of this experience. A long-standing tradition at The Cushman School is for each student to be presented with a Birthday Book on or around their special day. After enjoying their book for some time at home, their book is then returned and “gifted” to our library with a label displaying that student’s name. Many of our alumni love returning to our library and finding their birthday books. A planned gift is any major gift, made during the lifetime or at death as part of a donor’s overall financial and/or estate planning. Planned giving enables donors who wish to make a gift to The Cushman School larger than would otherwise be possible from their discretionary income. The gift can be made to the school in three ways: Whether a donor uses cash, appreciated securities/stock, real estate, artwork, partnership interests, personal property, life insurance, or a retirement plan, the benefits of funding a planned gift can make this type of charitable giving beneficial to both the donor and The Cushman School. If you are interested in learning more about how you can make a gift to Cushman that will last a lifetime, please contact Lisa Arvin at [email protected] for more information. “I love the familiar faces! -Noelle Androuin – Class of ’98 Your Gifts Matter

I learned to be kind and courteous above all else!
I loved the story I could share with my child and that we have three generations of women attending the same school!”
