Accreditations

The Cushman School, a National Blue Ribbon of Excellence School, is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Florida Kindergarten Council. Memberships are held in the National Association of Independent Schools (Cushman was the only elementary school in South Florida to be granted membership in N.A.I.S.), the National Association of Education of Young Children, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, the National Council of Teachers of English, the National Council of Teachers in Mathematics, the National Council of Teachers of Science, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, the Council for Religion in Schools, and the School Scholarship Service. The Cushman Middle School is affiliated with the National Junior Honor Society and the National Association of Student Councils.
